LOCATION

The village of Banya is located 5 km away from the famous ski centre and winter resort Bansko and approximately on the same distance to the town of Razlog. The three settlements in the footsteps of Pirin Mountain form a right-angled triangle, which gradually turns into a superb ski and tourist area.

 The village of Banya is located in the central part of the Razlog Valley, which is secluded among the beautiful and mythical mountains of Pirin, Rila and the Rhodopes. Banya is just 5 km away to the northeast from the world famous ski resort Bansko and 156 km from the Bulgarian capital Sofia. The village will also thrill you with its archaeological sites with Thracian, Roman and Bulgarian Revival artifacts.

The magnificent beauty of this village is a touch of heaven; it is one of the best kept secrets of Bulgarian nature. The village is abundant with mineral water springs. There are more than 70 mineral springs with an average water temperature of 58°С.   The unique combination of natural wonders, spectacular views of three mountains and the warm hospitable people turn Banya into an attractive destination for relaxation and rejuvenation. 

There are numerous hot mineral springs in the village. The old Roman bath in the village, a remnant from ancient times, is an explicit illustration of the unique spa cure effects of Banya’s hot mineral springs. The water is clear, with no smell or residue with a pleasant taste. Its chemical composition is hydrocarbonate-sulphate-natrium, fluoride and silicate; weakly mineralized. The water helps the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system, chronic gynecological diseases, and inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system. There are medicinal mud deposits in Banya as well.

The HOUSE

“The Three Bells” guest house is built in a traditional Bulgarian Renaissance style and it is one of the biggest houses in Banya. The interior and exterior designs of the house follow the architectural trend of the traditional Rhodope Mountain house intertwined with elements of the Tryavna School. The guest house has a spacious wooden patio revealing a breath-taking panoramic view to Pirin and Rila mountains.

Coming here, you will enjoy the tranquility of the village, the numerous hot mineral water springs, the golf course and the crystal clear mountain air.

The guest house offers a unique year-round opportunity for relaxation and family holidays. If you are fond of winter sports, the proximity of Bansko (merely 5 km) will allow you to use one of the most well-equipped sky tracks and winter sports facilities in Europe. After the unforgettable experience at the slopes and trails of Pirin Mountain, you can enjoy and relax into the hot mineral water spas of Banya.

as well as a coffee bar with a beautiful traditional Bulgarian interior and a welcoming atmosphere.

Each room in the guest house is well equipped with a TV, free wireless internet connection and a private bathroom. The furniture is wooden and it is made by local master carpenters- followers of the famous Bansko School. We will soon offer two more double rooms and a mini spa centre.

The famous “Chopuri” are steps away from the house. The “Chopuri” are seven faucets with flowing hot mineral water.

Note: the price does not include the plane and the transfer airport - the hotel. If you wish to entrust us the organization of the travel you can do it with or after the reservation of the hotel (working cost 25€). 

If you wish to take care yourself of the travel you can find flights of several companies to Sofia (160 km, transfer coach, taxi, rent-a-car or private). Very often the best flight price rates are proposed by Air Bulgaria / Air France or Wizz air (low cost, sometimes very low prices). When you have your airplane ticket we can send you information about the most suitable transfer connection (auto organisation) or you can ask us to organise the transfer to your hotel. The other possibilities to arrive in Bulgaria are by bus. There are several bus lines that cross the Europe.
